1. What is the weather like in Guilin and when is the best time to come?
Guilin is located in the northeast of Guangxi Province , a subtropical monsoon zone with a warm and moist climate, which is moderate all year round. with four distinct seasons. It very rarely gets below freezing, but it is usually rainy, which makes it feel colder than it is. Summers are also hot and humid sometimes. The weather is very comfortable during the spring and fall. No one can really tell you when it is the best season to visit Guilin. Because you can see different views in different seasons.

2. What should I bring while traveling to Guilin?
There is nothing really special worth recommending. Guilin is a modern tourist city and you can easily buy almost all things there. But prepare the basic things can save your time on shopping in your journey. Comfortable shoes are necessary you travel. In Guilin you will surely be doing a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. Sun-glasses is recommended in Summer days, as well as carrying bottled water with you. You’d better bring an umbrella during rainy season in Guilin, where is located in a subtropical zone and it rains a lot during April and May. Pest control water or Anti-mosquito product is also worth recommending. And please do not forget your camera, film and batteries.

8. Will there be problems with the language barrier?
Yes language barrier is always a problem that visitors should prepare to face and solve. If you join into a group you will have an English-speaking tour guide, and most of the staff in the star rated hotels can speak English. But their English is sometimes limited with in the scope of their jobs only.
